.COMBAT Taking on the Republicans in every State and Village If you are not outraged, as the saying goes, then you are not paying attention.  The Florida recount controversy sets a frightening new low for political conquest in the U.S.  It is no longer enough to be right or even to have the law on your side.  The Republicans will clearly stop at nothing that stands in their way - not the truth, not the law not the will of the American people.  In the face of such a brutal display of ruthlessness we need to be prepared for hand-to-hand combat.  In this section we shine a bright light on Republican scandals past and not-so-past, keep track of Gore's actual victory margin in Florida, encourage people to express their displeasure at the complete monopoly that right wing talk show hosts have in the commercial media, and keep track of the mysterious disappearance of public records documenting Republican misdeeds.   When the media and the Republican propaganda machine tell you to "get over it," there is only one polite response -- never!  The Republican Congress wasted $70 million of our money investigating Bill Clinton's sex life and refuses to spend a penny investigating the biggest crime against democracy in U.S. history.  We will never get over it, and we're not likely to sit down and be quiet anytime soon, either.
