"Some Democrats had so much hatred for Bush that they had no hatred left over for Saddam" - David Brooks 10/18/03	We hate Saddam - and we also hate the people who sold him weapons of mass destruction, like Donald Rumsfeld and George Bush Sr. On 12/20/1983, Rumsfeld met Saddam Hussein on a special assignment from the Reagan-Bush administration. At the time, Hussein was widely criticized for using chemical weapons in his war against Iran. Rumsfeld's meeting paved the way for US and European countries to sell chemical and biological weapons to Saddam. These were the weapons Saddam cruelly used to kill over 5,000 of "his own people" (the oppressed Kurds) in Halabja in 1988.
One far-left Web site accuses the Bush family of involvement in hundreds of deaths - Byron York 10/18/03	The site is called Bush Body Count. It is a deadly serious effort to document the deaths caused by the Bush family. Compare this with the many "Clinton Body Count" sites that culminated in a much-publicized "Clinton murder" videotape by religious-right leader Rev. Jerry Falwell.
