Democrats.com Technical Problem

Technical Note for Version 8.0 of AOL and MSN
Democrats.com Technical Problem

If you upgrade to version 8.0 of AOL or MSN, your subscription to Democrats.com News may vanish. AOL version 8.0 hides all of your e-mail in the "unsolicited low priority inbox folder" - unless you add the sender's e-mail address to your AOL address book. If you open that folder, you'll find Democrats.com News. To resume normal delivery of Democrats.com News, you must put our newsletter address (news@democrats.com) in your AOL address book.

Editor's Note: Urge Yahoogroups to Fix Broken Links Problem
Democrats.com Technical Problem

A number of readers of dem-daily@yahoogroups.com and dem-weekly@yahoogroups.com have told us that the links which point to articles on Democrats.com do not work. These links DO work if you click them from the Democrats.com home page, and they DO work before we press "send" from Yahoogroups. The problem is that Yahoogroups changed to a new mail sending program last week, and this program still has a hungry bug that eats numbers that follow a question mark. (For example, a URL like http://www.democrats.com/view.cfm?id=9490 becomes http://www.democrats.com/view.cfm?id=90 - and no longer works as a result.) We have reported the problem to Yahoogroups, but they have not fixed it yet. We encourage our readers to join us in reporting this problem using the Yahoogroups response form. (For question 4, choose "Other". For question 6, simply copy/paste this message.)
